This policy explains how iPaintHomes collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit this website, send a request through the estimate form, use the chat, or call us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you send the estimate form, you give us your name and phone number. You can also add an email address, the kind of work you want done and a message. When you use the chat or call us, we receive what you tell us and the details you contact us with, such as your phone number.

Information collected when you use the website

When you send the form, it also records the page you sent it from, the first page you opened on the website, the website that linked you here, and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as an ad click ID.

The website uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags. These tags can use cookies and similar technologies to record the pages you view, how you move through the site, the device and browser you use, and an approximate location based on your IP address. The chat widget also receives technical details about your browser and device so it can work.

Sensitive information

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as health, financial or government identification details. Please leave it out of form and chat messages.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• answer your request, set up the estimate visit and write your estimate;
• do the painting work you hire us for and keep records of it;
• understand how people use the website, so we can improve it;
• protect the website and our customers from spam, fraud and misuse;
• comply with the law, respond to legal requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

We may also use your information for another purpose if you agree to it. We do not sell your personal information.

Tools and services we use

The estimate form

When you send the form, your request comes to us by email through an email delivery service, and it is stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where we keep track of requests and estimates.

Google Tag Manager

The website uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags. Google handles the information those tags collect under its own policies and explains how on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Chat

The website offers live chat through tawk.to. What you type in the chat, and the technical details the widget needs, are processed by tawk.to so we can read and answer your messages. Its handling of that information is covered by the tawk.to privacy policy.

When we share your information

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Service providers. The companies that run the email delivery service, the CRM, Google Tag Manager and the chat process information for us so they can provide their services.
• Business transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, a sale of company assets, a financing, or the acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, unless the law requires or allows a longer period, for example for tax or accounting records. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. If that is not possible, for example because it is stored in backup archives, we store it securely and keep it from any further use until it can be deleted.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we handle. Still, no way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise that others will never get around those measures. Sending information to the website is at your own risk, and we recommend using it over a secure connection.

Children

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 or market to them. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it. If you think we have, call us at 480-232-5474.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If we rely on your consent to use your information, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing it does not change what we did with your information before.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block them, the measurement tags and the chat may not work.

Do-Not-Track signals

Some browsers have a Do-Not-Track setting that tells websites you do not want your browsing tracked. There is no agreed standard for responding to these signals, so the website does not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will describe it in an updated version of this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the new version takes effect as soon as it is posted. If we make a significant change, we may post a notice on the website.
